I am proud to introduce this digital platform for efficient, accountable and citizen-centric service delivery. For the first time, citizens of Nagaland can access real-time updates on the status of the roads and infrastructure. This open-access model will foster trust between the government and the people, empowering citizens to stay informed about developmental initiatives in their communities. This initiative aligns with national goals, such as the Digital India Mission, reinforcing Nagaland’s role as a proactive participant in India’s digital transformation journey. Information Technology plays a vital role in today’s personal, commercial and effective governance. Any Organizations cannot exist today and expect to stay competitive without adequate Information Technology systems. Understanding the requirement to have a robust data driven system to help with planning, budgeting and making crucial decision at all level of works, NPWD has embark on a mission to transform the activities from manual to a digital platform called the “Online Management and Information System”. This platform will help transform redundancy to efficiency in a more accurate and consistence manner in delivering holistic development and services to the citizen.
